Preparatory dentists are now preparing to take a course for the new academic year.
This is the first time in nearly three decades that dentists have been preparing to enrol in a course.
Nissan’s Dental Practice Centre in Victoria will offer the Nism Preparatory Dentistry course for students at the University of Melbourne.
The course is intended to provide students with a foundation in dental science and to give them a solid foundation in the practice of dentistry.
Nimita Ramakrishnan, a professor of clinical dentistry at the School of Dentistry at RMIT University, said she was looking forward to learning the material from Nism and other leading dentists.
“I think it’s really important to know how to treat patients,” Ms Ramakumar said.
“They’re very good at helping to make sure they have an optimal quality of life.”
The Nism course will be taught in the Dental Centre, with a focus on clinical practice and clinical practice practice, and the course will also focus on patient care.
“It’s very important that we are prepared for when they come to practice,” Dr Ramakriya said.
